Courtney Leonard, founder of Kort Hauss Productions, has worked along side the music industry’s top recording artists, music managers and record label executives. He has since formed a team of the industry’s leading musicians, producers, vocal coaches and choreographers to help new and established artists enhance their performance abilities and create a path for success in the music industry.
KHP was founded in 2002 by Courtney Leonard and has had the privilege of working along side many top record label executives, world-class vocal coaches, music management professionals, and choreographers. KHP has also worked with an expansive list of artists including New Kids On The Block, Haley Reinhart, Jordan Pruitt, Demi Lovato, David Archuletta, David Foster, Charice, Chris Brown, T-Pain, Mary J. Blige, Donnie McClurkin, Marvin Sapp, and Sheila E. (pictured left) to name a few.
Working with many of Hollywood’s elite afforded KHP the opportunity to identify a major change in the music industry where record labels that once provided in-house artist development for new artists shifted to mainly showing interest in artists that were fully developed before considering signing them. These industry changes have driven many new and undiscovered artists to ask how they can successfully break in to the music industry, what they should do first, and what has to be done to get a record deal. This is why KHP now works directly with both established and new/emerging artists to expose them to industry professionals, develop their artistic and musical skills, enhance their performance abilities and create a path to obtaining a successful career in the music industry.
